Can Saudi summit lower oil prices?

It will be, according to the summit's own website, a momentous event. It has been a remarkable 10-year climb in the price of crude oil. Life in anywhere hasn't been easy now and we can't afford the record high price anymore.

Before we deep into the topic, let's review the oil price in your country first.

1. Japan Oil Price: High-octane (#98): ¥179/l = $ 1.66 USD per liter

2. US Oil Price:

California, Average High-octane gasoline (Premium) price: currently over $4 .799 per gallon = $ 1.27 USD per liter

Houston, Average High-octane gasoline (Premium) price: currently over $4 .156 per gallon = $ 1.098 USD per liter

* U.S. Retail Gasoline by Grade by Formulation: #92(Premium) , #89(Plus) , #87 (Regular)
** 1 gallon= 3.785 liter

3. China Oil Price: Average High-octane gasoline (#97) price: currently over RMB 7 per liter = $ 1.02 USD per liter

4. Taiwan Oil Price: Average High-octane gasoline (#98) price: currently over NTD 36.1 per liter = $ 1.19 USD per liter

Here are the comparison of retail Gasoline price per liter by Grade by Country.

China($ 1.02) < Houston($1.098) < Taiwan($1.19)< California($1.27)< Japan($1.66)

After the Saudi summit, the gasoline prices eased slightly in most of the country. Over the last week, the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline slipped to $4.585 in California, both posting a 0.3-of-a-cent decline. , according to the Energy Department's survey of filling stations, released Monday, June, 24.

Like I said, Life in anywhere hasn't been easy now and we can't afford $100 fill-ups. Please go riding the bus or MRT to work more often. Wishing all of us had to do the same or otherwise... Move to China or Houston instead.
