Name:

A tourist is someone who thinks of going home the moment they arrive ; a traveler seeks adventure from one part of the earth to another and slowly over periods of years. Are you a tourist or a traveler ?? I like to travel alone with my camera. To talk with the people who live in the individual city where I visited. Enjoy your life, make your friends...

Day Job

Wouldn't we all love to leave our dull grey cubicles behind if the rent could still get paid? This is the theme behind "Day Job", the song is about the monotony of the everyday 9-5 grind by Toronto's Sunshine State.

From Aleza's MV, I just recall many pleasant memories in Irvine office. A girl who sit next to me (my cubcle). The south California girl now move to bay area working for Google now. I took the picture in her last day here.

Well, It's about time for tea break and let's grab a cup of coffee. Wanna bite a muffin, too. ... ... Okay, time's up. One day I will leave my cubicle behind. "Don't quit your day job!" I meant it!

Get back to work now...

Day Job
by Sunshine State on Day Job

Verse 1

Where'd the weekend go
I say to Steve
As the elevator opens
On the 7th floor of hell

Third cup of coffee
Now I’m half awake
Start to wander through my email
Getting cozy in my cell

Pre chorus 1

1-2-3-4-5 more hours
crush my soul
and send me flowers
take me home
where I can be myself again

Chorus 1

Someday
Monday I’ll sleep in ‘till noon
And stay out late
And live the life I want
I know
One day
I’ll leave this dull grey cubicle behind
If the rent could still be paid

Verse 2

Try to be different
Wore striped socks today
I think that everybody noticed
Heard them talking in the hall

Hey you know there’s muffins
On Todd’s desk
Well I better hurry now and get one
Guess I’ll have to miss that call

Pre chorus 2

1-2-3-4-5 more hours
sing my love songs in the shower
brush my teeth
and try to plan my
getaway! (NOT My Gateway !!)

Chorus 2

Someday
Monday I’ll sleep in ‘till noon
And stay out late
And live the life I want
I know
One day
I’ll leave this dull grey cubicle behind
If the rent could still be paid

Bridge

The dental plan
Serves me well
Love my ergonomic chair
Steady pay
That I never seem to save
I’ve been wasting too much time
I don’t wanna be there

Chorus 3

Someday
Monday I’ll sleep in ‘till noon
And stay out late
And live the life I want
I know
One day
I’ll leave this dull grey cubicle behind
Things are gonna be different

Someday
Monday I’ll sleep in ‘till noon
And stay out late
And live the life I want
I know
One day
I’ll kiss this dull grey cubicle goodbye
If the rent could still be paid
