Angels V.S. Oakland Athletics @ Angels Stadium of Anaheim
I canceled the original golfing plan with my friends and decided to pay a visit to Angels Stadium of Anaheim this Sunday. So that, I accessed MLB website and bought a ticket thru Ticketmaster. Today's baseball game is Angels V.S. Oakland Athletics.
Angels Stadium locate in Anaheim and it is very close to Lake Forest. Right on I-5 N and took 107C exit, it took me 15 minutes to get to the stadium. A lot of people line up in the main entrance while I arrived in the stadium parking lot.
Two baseball caps stand in front of the stadium and the six bats support the main gate. Let me zoom in the picture for you. Two balls locate in the end of bats as a joint.
Scan the bar code of the ticket and then enter the field. OF course, I bought some junk foods and try to mess up the stadium as usual.
Actually, it is hard to keep the stadium tidy and clean . The people always screw-up the field environment.
Athletics team are warming up before the game. Did you find the ace of Oakland #31 Mike Piazza. You can hear lot of loud noise which made by Angels fans. I like " Pizza".
As a Angels fan, you have to buy some stuff from the team store. At least, wear the red clothing while watched the game. Guerrero and Rodriguez is more popular in the shop.
As Angels have home team advantage against Athletics today, I guess all of those fans are coming for the home game. The stadium light shows and cheerleaders will be in support of the home team- Angels only. " Go Go Angels! " , " Get Loud! ", " I can't hear you! " , " Make some noise! " The fans rules, though, are that they only cheer for their team and say bad stuff to the visiting team.
And if there is one thing that fans better watch during a break in the action at baseball games it is the roving camera that settles on couples in the stands who oblige by kissing. If they don’t kiss, they are roundly booed. Extra enthusiastic kisses are especially appreciated by the crowd.
Kiss Cam and Kid Cam are just fun for most people during the break, which is what the games are supposed to be, too, which is why we call them games.
Please watch out when you watching the baseball games! The roving camera are shooting more photos of you and monitoring what is happening on the stadium.
The attendance in Angels home game was 37783 in the Easter due to the Spring break in US. All of kids go with family cheering for thier team.
Today's special activity is the post game Easter egg hunt. Easter Bunny place about 50,000 colored eggs around the field.
In the US, children believe that if they were good, the Easter bunny would lay a nest or colored eggs of them on Easter Day.
