The first Experience of Korea Express Train
I had been to Korea for couple times but I never take the train to look around the city. So, I decide to use express train instead of the commuting bus before leave for Seoul.
As usual, I stay in Shilla Hotel Seoul and it just for their Mountain/City View. Especially, I picked the corner room this time.
Okay, let's go back to the topic of my first experience of Korea's express train. We left for the Seoul station at 8:30 a.m. and arrived in the station at 9:00 a.m. The first sight of the Seoul station is huge and it like an airport.
We bought the train ticket and went for the platform awaiting the train. Of course, I can't understand the Korean. I can say one word in Korean -- "kam sa hab ni da" and that's the far I can go to. (Even, it was corrected by one of my Korean friend.)
The train run by the Korea Railroad Ltd. The train which we took is express train and three seats locate in a row. It's a little bit difference between JR Shinkansen(JR 新幹線) and they don't provide 2nd floor seats. It can run the full speed at 300 KM/hour.
Because I can understand the Korean, everything for me is quite new experience. The sign Dunkin Donuts is one of example. Have you ever saw the sign says "Dunkin Donuts" in Korean? I took the picture for you.
Of course, we enjoyed the korea's BBQ and lot of KimChi (韓国食材のKimchi). You can't believe that those dishes are only appetizer not the main dish.
I like Korea KimChi in various type. If I get a chance to visit Korea again, I will enjoy the family Kimchi which was made with special recipe. You can find each Korean family have their own KimChi bottles.
P.S. One of my friend just broke a rib when he fell off from roof. I hope he can recover from the illness shortly. The pain of rib broken is ranked as category one. So that, you can image that he might suffer very very painful during his recovery. Don't worry, be happy... He will get back his health quickly.
